What is OEKOPRO-Lite?

OEKOPRO-Lite is made for users which do not want to deal with extensive details but wish to have an overview of chemicals used in the different industrial branches. You can, for instance, search for different product- or application classes to find the chemicals which are used in the branch in which you are interessted. If you need more information, e.g. for one of your choosen substance, you can use the whole database of OEKOPRO. OEKOPRO is available free of charge on the internet. Both databases, OEKOPRO-Lite and OEKOPRO are maintained and updated by the Institute for Enviromental Research of the University of Dortmund, Germany.

What is OEKOPRO?

OEKOPRO is a database for substances, collected and evaluated on the basis of several research projects financed by the German Umweltbundesamt and is available on the internet, free of charge.

OEKOPRO includes

• physical and chemical data, toxicological and ecological facts for each substance
• many supplementary background information, which can facilitate the assessment of these substances.
